The Situation,Revised

Upon review and testing of the project outlined in The Situation. I have concluded that most of what I wanted to do was not practical to complete. So I’m revising the project to improve the quality of each detail and make it more manageable for myself. I now have more time to curate the Instagram page for my business, by liking at least 100 photos a day and posting three times a week. This has been proven by other pages to accelerate follower growth considerably. Having cross-platform audiences is really vital to reaching our younger audience (16-30-year-olds). This will look better when approaching a sponsor because it not only shows reach but our ability to bring that reach to a range of platforms. As for directing focus more on Nest of Vipers Airsoft, this improves my personal ability to manage my team, teach them new skills, and start the new season better than ever before. With the sales/networking books I’m reading, I will be able to bring the knowledge to my team so we can all grow together. The best part about all this is, you get to watch everything unfold in (mostly) real time.

The Revision

I had an advising session with Hannah Frankman about effective ways I could change this project while killing as many birds with as few stones as possible. We were able to narrow the project down to a few different activities.

-Continue to read and review the three original books I picked out.

-Implement concepts learned from the books I read into the management of my own business, and document them with blogs after each meeting (weekly/bi-weekly).

-Continue to push for the ‘300 Instagram followers’ goal before the end of this month.

This new project outline will help me to invest back into my own business and create strong signals towards my abilities to manage and lead. These projects will also help me build interest inside of client bases and inside of team members in my business. Hannah and I also discussed some more long-term projects I could begin in the next few months, those projects are really exciting too, but more on that in the coming months.
